Oak, melamine doors, Ceramic

In the heart of the Dolomites, this custom-made kitchen by Zaninelli Wood&Stone redefines alpine hospitality, blending a clean, essential design with the vibrant texture of natural elements to dialogue seamlessly with the surrounding architecture. The visual and operational centerpiece of the space is the large central island, where the top and sides in Laminam ceramic—featuring warm shades that recall natural stone—host a flush-mounted sink and an induction cooktop with an integrated hood. This solid, geometric block extends laterally into a natural oak snack counter, an invitation to conviviality that beautifully contrasts with the rear cabinetry, defined by elegant cream-colored melamine doors. Behind this clean surface lies a sophisticated pocket door system: with a simple gesture, the doors retract completely into the sides of the structure to reveal a perfectly equipped secondary workspace crafted in natural oak and illuminated by integrated LED lighting, which restores architectural rigor to the room once closed.

The project is completed through a refined dialogue between vertical surfaces and signature details that enhance the living experience. The wall cladding by Unikolegno wraps the adjacent dining area, creating a contemporary oak boiserie that amplifies the feeling of warmth and visual continuity throughout the room. Serving as a poetic counterpoint to the kitchen's linearity is the sophisticated wallpaper by Wall&decò; its evocative graphic motif recalls a woodland nature, transforming the background into a striking backdrop that enhances the exposed ceiling beams. In this creation, the union of master craftsmanship and the selection of premium technical materials gives life to a timeless space, perfectly merging maximum domestic functionality with the emotion of high-altitude design.
